Pet Urgent Care
When your pet is suddenly sick or injured, it is a frightening experience. While Braescroft Animal Clinic is not a 24/7 emergency hospital, we do provide dedicated urgent care for non-life-threatening issues during our regular business hours. If you are concerned about your pet's health, please call us right away. Our team will help you evaluate the best options and, if it is a situation our doctors can safely handle, we will do everything in our power to get your pet seen as soon as possible.
How Our Daytime Urgent Care Works
Step 1: Call Us First
Please always call our front desk before arriving at the clinic! Explain your pet's symptoms to our trained staff. This allows us to prepare for your arrival or determine if your pet's condition requires a fully equipped, 24-hour emergency room.
Step 2: Expert Triage & Guidance
We will always be honest with you. If your pet is experiencing a severe trauma, struggling to breathe, or requires overnight monitoring, we will immediately direct you to a trusted local emergency hospital so no time is wasted getting them critical care.
Step 3: Prompt Care
If your pet's issue is urgent but not severe—such as a minor laceration, sudden limping, an allergic reaction, or an ear infection—we will work diligently to adjust our schedule, fit you in that same day, and provide your pet with immediate relief.
